GP practices will close at 4pm on New Year’s Eve.
Patients are asked to plan ahead and be aware of alternative arrangements in place for urgent care.
Urgent care after 4pm
If you need urgent medical attention after 4pm, you can attend one of the following locations. Please choose the site most appropriate for you.

18 The Parade, Leicester LE2 5BJ
Loughborough Urgent Treatment Centre
Loughborough Hospital Way, LE11 5JY
These centres are set up to assess and treat urgent health concerns when GP practices are closed.
Practice phone lines
Between 4pm and 6.30pm, practice phone calls will be managed and triaged by DHU.
From 4pm, calls should be diverted to:
0300 323 0671
Please ensure the diversion is removed and normal phone settings are restored promptly at 6.30pm.
Online requests
Online access will remain open between 4pm and 6.30pm for non urgent electronic requests submitted through the NHS App or practice website.
These requests will be reviewed and responded to on the next working day.
Help us keep patients informed
Notices should be clearly displayed inside and outside practice premises and shared across usual communication channels.
Clear communication helps patients know where to go and reduces delays in care.
