Horizon Healthcare is pleased to support the Health, Fitness and Mental Wellbeing Community Day taking place on Sunday 24 May 2026 at The Peepul Centre, Leicester.
This free community event brings together NHS services, specialist practitioners, mental health teams, pharmacists, social prescribers, and wellbeing organisations to provide practical support and health education for local people.
Visitors will be able to access a wide range of health checks and screening services including blood pressure, BMI, heart health, diabetes screening, liver scans, hearing checks, eye health information, vaccination education, and Hepatitis C awareness.
The event will also provide support and advice around mental health, bereavement, men’s health, talking therapies, dementia, substance misuse, domestic violence, sexual health, and wider community wellbeing services.
Events like this play an important role in helping people access early advice, ask questions, and connect with local services in a welcoming environment.
