A number of free walk in vaccination clinics are currently taking place across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for eligible patients. These clinics are designed to improve access to important vaccinations and help protect local communities.
No appointment is required. Patients can simply attend one of the listed locations during the advertised times.
Vaccines currently available include:
• COVID 19
• RSV
• Flu
• Pertussis
• MMR and MMRV
• HPV
• Pneumococcal vaccines
• MenACWY
• Rotavirus
• Routine childhood immunisations
Eligibility varies depending on age, pregnancy status, long term health conditions and vaccination history.
Current eligibility includes:
• Adults aged 75 and over for seasonal COVID 19 vaccination
• Pregnant women eligible for RSV and pertussis vaccination
• Children due routine childhood immunisations
• Young people aged 12 to 24 eligible for HPV vaccination
• Patients who may have missed previous MMR doses
The roving healthcare unit will also be visiting a number of community locations across Leicester and surrounding areas throughout May.
These clinics are an important opportunity to catch up on missed vaccinations and protect yourself and your family against preventable illness.
